Turtle point on your doorstep
The famous turtle snorkeling point is walking distance from the villa. Ask us to sort snorkel gear and you can be swimming with turtles before breakfast.
Peace and quiet at night
Makuta sits away from the island's party strip. Nights here are genuinely quiet, so you sleep to crickets and waves, not basslines. The night market and bars are still an easy bicycle ride when you want them.
Getting here
From Bali
Fast boats leave Padang Bai and Serangan for Gili Trawangan daily, taking about 1.5 to 2.5 hours. We'll recommend trusted operators and the best departure for your travel day.
From Lombok
Fly into Lombok International Airport, drive about 1.5 hours to Bangsal harbour, then hop on the 15-minute public or private boat across.
When you land
The island has no cars. Message us your boat time and we can book a cidomo (horse cart) to bring you from the harbour straight to the villa, and arrange bicycle rental for the rest of your stay.
